The Litchfield County Opiate Task Force is looking for volunteers to help with our Harm Reduction Rover service. Our 5 Rovers carry harm reduction tools like Nasal and Injectable Naloxone, wound care supplies, safe sex supplies, and now COVID safety materials like face masks. As a volunteer, you would be handing out these items to folks in need.

In addition the Rover also provides referrals to treatment and other community resources. And as a volunteer you would be using our resource database to connect folks with any agencies or organizations in our region that they might find useful.

The Rovers are currently deployed at sites in Torrington, Winsted, and Canaan.

An introductory training session with the Rover is required for all volunteers before serving any sites.
